I'm a big advocate of joining a paid site that will provide you with good survey leads. I'd prefer to spend my paid survey time actually completing surveys than getting bleary-eyed in front of Google looking for a gig.
Yes, Virginia, you do have to drop a little coin to make things happen. Generally, you spend less than $40 (often around $20) and one of these sites will then hook you up with HUNDREDS and HUNDREDS of rock-solid market research opportunities. They pay for themselves.
Anyway, you can read one set of recommendations here. All three of the sites mentioned at that blog are well-known and should probably help you get the money ball rolling over at paid survey stadium.
Here are a few others you might want to check out, too. Based on my research, chatting with other survey takers and experience, these appear to be very good, if not excellent, sites.
Classified Surveys. The "cloak and dagger" pitch page might be over the top, but everything I've heard about them so far has been A+.
Instant Paid Surveys. They've been around for awhile and people swear by them.
Surveys 4 Checks. These guys are worth checking out. They're established and they're even willing to send a cool newsletter with survey moneymaking tips to you--FREE--even if you don't join up. Check it out!
Happy Opinion-Giving and Money-Making,
Amy
