How Good is this Paid Survey Thing Really Treating You?

Here's a sort of fun project for you.

Track the actual amount of time you're spending with paid surveys and the actual amount of value you earn from that time for awhile.

Then, do the math.

Find out if you are really making a decent equivalent to an hourly wage.

Some people definitely do.

Some people fall short.

It isn't really that big of an issue, because it's money you're making on your own time when you would just be goofing off anyway. It's sorta like free money. Besides, it's fun. It's not like going to a Joe/Jane job where you have to clock in on time and some crazy assistant manager jumps your case because you'd like to take a five-minute cigarette break. Plus, there are no really creepy co-workers to catch staring at your butt all the time.

You get the idea.

Anyway, do the math and see how you feel.

I like my numbers.

Oh, and because I still feel guilty that I started my last post with such a blatant pitch for you to join one of my favorite survey lead sites, I am making this post commercial-free.

Later My Alligator,
Amy

If You Like Paid Surveys and LOVE Purple

Check out Express Paid Surveys.

Why? They do one he**uva job supplying contact info and survey leads for folks who like to turn their opinions into moolah.

Oh, and their website has a very cool purple thing going on.

I know, this is not the most informative post in history. It's basically a plug for Express Paid Surveys. Maybe that isn't the nicest thing in the world to do to a reader.

So, I'm gonna tack on a little free advice for those making money with online surveys. There are cool little Firefox extensions available that make it incredibly easy to fill out forms on the Internet. If you're like me and you are really not that thrilled about typing your full name out every single time a form asks for it, this might be just what you need.

It certainly makes taking paid surveys online a lot faster.

Have a good one!

Absolutely Free Online Surveys and what You should Know about 'Em

I just noticed that my last few posts were a little on the ditzy side, so I decided to pump out something on the serious tip.

Paid surveys are a lot of fun and I rarely, if ever, encounter any problems with them whatsoever. Part of that is because I have the hook-up and don't mess around in the bad neighborhoods of Surveyville. Another reason is because I do my homework.

Case in point: This article.

It covers a few important factors to consider when looking at online survey opportunities. Although it is relatively basic information, I thought you survey freaks reading this blog might have an interest in it.

Get Pay: Online Surveys are here to Stay

The title of this post sounds like a cheer, huh?

Don't think so. I know the little graphic of me doing the boogie woogie makes it look like I have serious moves, but the reality doesn't measure up. The song says, "these hips don't lie". Either do mine. They don't dance and they can't do a pyramid.

They are good for one thing, though... Sitting. In my comfy chair. In front of the computer.

Tonight I didn't want to cook. So, I ordered some Chinese food. A little General Tso is good sometimes, you know. The bill came to $11. You have to get more than $10 worth of food to score delivery, so I stocked up on crab rangoon, too.

Anyway, I'm sitting around and suddenly I decide that I want my dinner to be free.

How is that possible? After all, I already paid the delivery dude.

You guessed it. Paid survey time.

I fired up Lefty (my computer) and found a survey that paid $5. I did it. Still $6 in the whole, but I felt like I at least cut the bill in half.

I could have found another and came out ahead, but I wanted to watch a movie.

That is what I call earning flexibility.

Look, I know that $5 is not a world-changing thing, but considering I did it while getting wonton crumbs all over my t-shirt and listening to my stereo, I think it was a decent deal.

Paid surveys to the rescue. If I order pizza this week, I swear I will "survey off" the whole pie.

And now, a blatant plug for a groovy website:

Paid Surveys -- Free Online Work -- Home Sweet Home

One of the nicest things about completing paid surveys? It's a true work from home deal. I don't have to go out anywhere. I don't have to clock in at any particular time. I get the itch, I tap into a paid survey opportunity and I make money.

Preaching again here, but I can't think of a more convenient way to generate a little extra cash than being a market research participant. It's just what the Doc ordered--a nice, fun, low-pressure way to fill the ol' pocketbook.

I defy anyone to come up with an easier way to generate money on the web that really works. I doubt that is going to happen any time soon.

Why is it so easy for me to hop on the PC and do a survey? I could break it down for you step by step, but the easiest way to explain the whole thing is probably two simple words:

SURVEY SCOUT.

Free Membership for Online Surveys? Every Stinking Time

I've turned a few friends on to the whole paid Internet survey thing. Last week, one of them asked me what I thought about giving some operation a little money in exchange for survey participation. Here's my version of the conversation:

***

HER: So, should I pay them to get access to these surveys?

ME: You mean you're going to pay them and then they'll give you a ton of leads to other survey sites? Like Survey Scout (that's my fave, by the way)?

HER: No. This is the company doing it. You pay them and you can take their surveys for money. Whaddya think?

ME: I think you're crazy. Why should you pay THEM? You're giving them opinion data. They should be paying you.

HER: They ARE going to pay me. I just have to plunk over the cash to get access the surveys.

ME: That's what I call a trip to Scam City. If this was a legit deal, you could sign up and get paid for doing the surveys. You should always get free membership for online surveys, so to speak.

HER: Then why did you tell me to sign up with that website (I turned her on to Survey Scout)?

ME: It's totally different. They aren't the research firms. They just do the legwork for us. They hunt down all the good leads, right? I mean, seriously, how long would it take you to find all of those paid surveys? That's why it's a good deal. You aren't paying them for the surveys, you're paying them for the research and expertise.

HER: Yeah, but this deal looks good. Even if I do have to pay.

ME: You are totally a sucker. Don't do it.

***

I think I talked her out of it.

I hope you get the idea, too.

Don't confuse "outsourcing" the tougher parts of making money with surveys (which is a way to INCREASE your overall profitability) with paying some schmuck for no good reason at all.

A re-pimp for Survey Scout:

Taking Surveys for Money Online Rules -- What Do YOU Wear to Your Part-Time Job?

Taking surveys for money online completely rules, people. Seriously, I consider making extra money with surveys the equivalent of a good part-time job--except for the fact that it's hella more fun and easier than dealing with the goofs at most part-time gigs.

So, let me ask you something. What do you wear to your part-time job? A silly uniform or smock that the company gives you? Khakis and a polo shirt like EVERYONE else at the joint? Gotta wear a tie? Maybe steel-toed boots because of all the falling chunks of heavy iron?

Not me.

I'm taking surveys for cash on the Internet from the comfort of my apartment. I don't wear a uniform to work. I don't have to do my hair or makeup. Life is too good sometimes.

Last night, I was on the computer for about two hours. Based on my calculations, I should probably clear around $40. Not the best $/hr in the world, but I can live with it because it was a ton of fun.

Anyway, I made that money while eating some Tostitos with salsa and drinking a Diet Coke.

I was wearing a pair of cut-off sweat pants and a t-shirt I've had for like a million years. Total comfort. Total.

And I was making money at the same time.

If you aren't doing the paid survey thing, you are completely missing out on a really fun way to make some cash.

Get some good survey leads (hint: I'm about to give you a pretty picture you can click to do that) and get started.

I'm Making Money -- Online Survey Credit Starts to Build

After some mild concerns about a particular series of surveys, relief...

I'm making money. Online survey credit builds faster than you think and the payouts can be pretty good.

Here's the skinny. I prefer to do surveys online that pay cash. No secret there, right? I especially like the ones that pay via PayPal, because I then have the dough at my fingertips instantly.

Well, I was checking out one market research operation that had some cool surveys, but they weren't paying in cash. They were doing the whole point system thing. Your familiar, right? Instead of earning dollars, you earn points. You can then redeem accumulated points for merchandise (in this case gift cards).

I gave it a whirl. Not my usual paid survey thing, but what the heck, right?

Anyway, the paid survey credits have been building at a pretty rapid clip and I'm getting ready to cash in for a fistful (admittedly, though, I have tiny hands) of gift cards to stores where I usually shop, anyway. So, it's as good as cash if you think about.

Surveys-for-points don't sound as groovy as surveys-for-cash, but in the end they work out about the same. I'm pretty happy with the fact I'm making money. Online survey credit systems seem to work AOK.

Whether you want cash, merchandise or gift cards from surveys, you can find the hookup with Survey Scout. Serious leads for serious survey-takers!

50% Off Coupon at Paid Surveys, Etc.

I just noticed this... Don't know how long they'll be offering the deal, though.

Paid Surveys, Etc., which is a very well-recognized site in the paid survey field, has an online coupon for 50% off new memberships.

Cut the cost in half and get stocked up with enough high-quality paying survey leads to keep you busy indefinitely.

If you've been wanting to get started with paid surveys but wanted to keep the costs down, this could be just what the doctor ordered!

50% OFF DEAL at Paid Surveys, Etc.

Sites that will Help You to Get Money with Online Surveys

I'm a big advocate of joining a paid site that will provide you with good survey leads. I'd prefer to spend my paid survey time actually completing surveys than getting bleary-eyed in front of Google looking for a gig.

Yes, Virginia, you do have to drop a little coin to make things happen. Generally, you spend less than $40 (often around $20) and one of these sites will then hook you up with HUNDREDS and HUNDREDS of rock-solid market research opportunities. They pay for themselves.

Anyway, you can read one set of recommendations here. All three of the sites mentioned at that blog are well-known and should probably help you get the money ball rolling over at paid survey stadium.

Here are a few others you might want to check out, too. Based on my research, chatting with other survey takers and experience, these appear to be very good, if not excellent, sites.

Classified Surveys. The "cloak and dagger" pitch page might be over the top, but everything I've heard about them so far has been A+.

Instant Paid Surveys. They've been around for awhile and people swear by them.

Surveys 4 Checks. These guys are worth checking out. They're established and they're even willing to send a cool newsletter with survey moneymaking tips to you--FREE--even if you don't join up. Check it out!

Happy Opinion-Giving and Money-Making,

Amy

Free Online Surveys and Scams -- What You Should Know

If you've been investigating paid survey opportunities, you've probably come across a few people who claim they're all scams.

These folks are wrong. Flat-out, misinformed, silly as can be, off-track WRONG.

Here's the deal... There are bad surveys out there, I'm sure. There are market research firms who'll solicit opinions and then disappear before the cut a promised check. That happens. There are a few bad apples in the massive (and growing) online paid survey barrel. I get that.

Those exceptions to the rule, however, don't mean that free online surveys and scams go hand-in-hand. Based on my experience, the good really outweighs the bad in a big way.

Besides, if you go about things the right way, you can insulate yourself from any risk with respect to the occasional bad guy. All you need to do is pursue legitimate survey opportunities (sites like Express Paid Surveys can deliver high-quality leads right to you in a heartbeat), read the actual terms of the offers, and keep your wits about you.

If you're not a complete goober (that's a scientific term, by the way), you probably aren't going to get ripped off by anyone. Oh, and let's say that you do have a bad experience. What's it really gonna cost you? If you're pursuing good surveys from leads provided by a top paid survey site, you're just going to lose a few minutes of your time before moving on to the next paying opportunity.

I look at it this way. I know someone who hired a roofer to take care of an old, decrepit shingling job on a house. The guy climbed up on the roof, hammered away, said it was done, collected his check and disappeared into the ether. It turned out he did a lousy job. So, my friend hired a better roofer and lived happily ever after in a drip-free house.

Get it? She didn't decide that every freaking roofer in the whole wide world was a scam artist because she ran into one bad apple. Here in Paid Survey Princess Land, we call that common sense.

It's just as silly to believe that free online surveys and scams go together like strawberries and cream. They don't. The bad situations aren't common and you can avoid them.

Oh, and unlike my friend with the rotting shingles, it isn't gonna cost you a fortune in roofing fees if you do fall into a trap--it's just gonna take a few minutes of your time. Sheesh.

I just can't understand why people are so resistant to the idea of making money with paid surveys. Thousands and thousands of people get paid every day to share their opinions. You can be part of that crowd or you can be a "scaredy cat" who sees elaborate scam conspiracies everywhere.

Me? I like getting paid.

Four Reasons Why You Should Fill Out Online Surveys for Money

Paid surveys, huh? Sounds like an okay idea, right? You give a business your opinion and they give you a little somethin'-somethin' for your time. A nifty little transaction.

Oh, but then again... What if things go bad? What if you answer questions and you don't get paid? What if you can't find enough surveys to keep you busy all day long every single day of your life? What if it isn't PERFECT?

Yeah, I'm being sassy. I just get a little worn out by the naysaying folks out there who refuse to accept the "proven beyond a shadow of a doubt" FACT that people fill out online surveys for money successfully.

If you've been listening to the nabobs of negativity, let me give you something a little more positive to chew on. Consider these 4 great reasons to try your hand at paid surveys.

NUMERO UNO: Money. I like money. I'm guessing you like it, too. I like free stuff. Same with you, I assume? That's the bottom line. You trade your insight to market research firms for payment. Your opinions are free, why not transform them into a little bonus? It's not like we're all so stinking rich that we couldn't use a few extra $20 bills in the ol' cookie jar.

NUMERO DOS: It's fun. Hey, if you're like me (or even if you're not), you have opinions and you like to share them. It's fun to check out new products and to share your attitudes about everything under the sun. Why waste your best perspective on a new movie's trailer with a co-worker or a friend when you could be telling a market research firm and cashing in at the same time?

NUMERO TRES: It's easy. If you want challenges in your spare time, build a lab in your basement and discover a cure for some rare tropical ailment. If you'd like a hobby that's fun and profitable, though, paid surveys are perfect.

NUMERO QUATRO: It's risk-free. What happens if it doesn't work out for you? Seriously. It means you wasted a few minutes at the computer. What would you have been doing if you weren't taking a survey online? Probably wasting a few minutes at the computer. There's no downside. Look, you can even take a stab at it the right way--by signing up with a site that will direct you to all of the hottest paying surveys--and still do it without risk. The good paid survey sites offer rockin' guarantees. You can do your thing for several weeks and if you aren't lovin' it, they'll give you your money back. Zero risk. Big upside. Easy decision.

I'm gonna end this post with a plug for Survey Scout. Survey Scout is a recognized force on the paid survey scene. They can hook you up with great survey and focus group opportunities. It doesn't cost much to join, you'll probably make back your investment faster than you'd imagine by completing some of the great surveys, and they have a rock-solid "love it or leave it" guarantee that makes joining a no-risk proposition.

You WILL Get Paid -- Take Short Online Surveys

So, you're sitting there wondering if you wanna give the paid online survey thing a whirl. It sounds pretty nifty, but you know that the Internet is swarming with nasty snake oil peddlers and creepy scams designed purely to take your money.

What's a person to do?

Well, I'm not a liar. I won't tell you that paid surveys are going to suddenly leave you with a small fortune in the bank and suitcases full of cash in the trunk of your new custom Caddy. Paid surveys aren't the road to ultimate riches.

They, are however, easy money. Plus, they're fun.

Fun, easy money online. That's not too shabby.

Will you find a way to do 20 surveys a day, each one paying $40? If you did, you'd make damn near a quarter of a million bucks in a year, after all. You won't. Okay, maybe you will, but I really doubt it.

What you will do is get paid. Take short online surveys and see. There's no big, fat front-end investment involved. In fact, if you're willing to dig around by yourself, you might even find a few opportunities without assistance. If you want to do it the faster, easier way you can visit one of the top paid survey sites to acquire hot leads and tips on available opportunities. Either way, no one wants you to cash out your 401K to get started. It's cheap and you can make some money.

Still wondering about whether you should try the paid survey thing? Give it a whirl. What do you have to lose, really?

You will get paid. And you'll have a ball, too!

The Joy of Making Dough with Online Surveys and Focus Groups that Pay

If you're new to the online survey game or are still wondering whether or not it's right for you, let me give you a sneak preview. Once you're able to find online surveys and focus groups that pay, things get pretty darn fun.

Here's a very real scenario. There's nothing on the tube. You don't have anything important to do for a half-hour or so. You fire up your PC, check your mail, and BOOM... There's an offer for a survey that pays $20.

A few mouse clicks later, and you're sharing your opinion on a new product or service. You're answering some fun questions and your perspective may just end up influencing the company's plans. Suddenly, you're not just another goofball killing time. You're a goofball killing time in a productive way AND you're making some money at the same time.

There's nothing wrong with aimlessly surfing the net (that might be what led you here, after all), but there's something a whole lot nicer about hitting the PC in your idle time with a purpose.

You check the clock. You still have 5 or 10 minutes left before you need to do whatever you needed to do. Fortunately, you've just answered the last of the survey questions.

And you're $20 richer.

It may not rival the Greatest Moment of Your Life, but there is some real joy in finding and completing good online survey opportunities!

Here's Why I Participate: Online Paid Surveys Make Money & More

I don't spend my whole life in front of my computer monitor doing surveys. I may be the Paid Survey Princess, but I'm not a complete freak!

I do a lot of things online. Some of them make me a fair chunk of change. Some of the don't make me a penny. Some cost me money. Sometimes, I even write a few blog posts about the paid survey field.

I absolutely love paid surveys, though. There one of the few proven strategies out there to make money online. Plus, they're pretty easy to do and they can be a whole lotta fun.

That's why I participate. Online paid surveys give me a chance to make real money while enjoying myself. That's very hard to beat, don't you think?

Do Some Free Online Paid Surveys -- Cash is Your Friend, Right?

What are you doing right now?

Oh, wait, I know. You're reading this blog post.

That's a good investment of your time, in my humble little opinion, but what are you going to do when your doen catching up with the Paid Survey Princess?

Well, I know what I'd do if I were you. I'd take a look at my list of survey opportunities and would then take some time to complete a good offer in order to receive some very good compensaton.

The fact that you are reading this, though, makes me wonder if you might be sitting on the fence when it comes to online surveys. Allow me to kick you right off of the fence.

I'm not a big believer in the "look before you leap" lifestyle. However, there are times when that makes a lot of sense. This is one of those times.

You can snag awesome leads for next to nothing and if the whole thing doesn't work out for you, the seller of the information will be required to pay you back in full.

So, we have an upside (profits) with no downside.

If you aren't ready to leap by now, you might never be! It's high time to do some free online paid surveys. Cash is your amigo, yes?

Three Paid Online Survey Sites You Should Check Out

If you want to make money completing online surveys, you're going to have to hook up with a bad-ass membership site. A good survey site will tell you where paid survey opportunities exist and will use their connections and research skills to keep you busy making money.

You probably know about some of the most popular survey opportunity providers. Sites like Make Money Taking Surveys, Survey Scout and Express Paid Surveys have high name recognition and have been around for a long time, evidencing their ability to get the job done.

If you're looking for an alternative site, or have decided to multiply your chances of making survey cash by signing up with more than one site, you might want to consider a few of the other options out there.

Here are three of my favorites from the ranks of the somewhat lesser known options. I believe in having as many paid survey opportunities available as possible. These three sites should help anyone find more chances to make money!

Home Survey Workers

This is a very professionally-assembled site. If you're interested in making as much as $423 per day with surveys and focus groups, you should take a long hard look at this one.

Classified Surveys

They have over 300 survey-offering companies to tell you about. Oh, and if you sign up you also get a massive heap of free bonuses. Definitely worthy of anyone's consideration.

Surveys 4 Checks

Multiple bonuses. Instant access. Insider secrets and tools that will make you more efficient and more profitable while taking paid surveys. Start collecting those checks, people!

Free Money, Online Survey Sites, and How to Start Making Money

Here's some free advice: Sign up with a good online survey site IMMEDIATELY.

Just in case you're new to all of this, here's how it works:

  • You sign up for membership with a legitimate survey site.
  • The site then supplies you with available paid survey opportunities.
  • You take advantage of the opportunities and the companies managing them pay you for your time and opinions.

It's that simple.

Many people resist signing up. They want free money--online survey sites that will supply them with red hot leads without asking them for a dime. Here's the scoop, kids, it doesn't happen.

Those leads are worth money. Finding great opportunities and spending time researching new surveys and focus groups options takes time and effort. No one is going to give you the keys to the cash vault just because you asked.

The people who put together lead list and who spend their hours using their expertise in market research to find great opportunities aren't in the charity business. And they shouldn't be.

They supply a very real service that can make you some very real money.

Choose a great service and sign up. Don't worry, they're cheap (usually well under $40) and you'll make your money back in a hurry.

You can turn something you already have for free money. Online survey sites give you the chance to turn your opinions into moolah.

I Get Paid to Participate in Surveys and Focus Groups. Life is Good!

What up my peeps?

Don't worry, I'm not gonna talk like that all the time. I just thought I'd open my very first post at this blog with something a little wacky. That's how I am.

But I'm also smart. Seriously. I know how to make money with online surveys and I hope I put together a blog here that will help you, too.

Am I doing this out of the kindness of my heart? No way, Jose.

Sure, I like you. Sure, I want you to make a killing doing paid surveys because I want you to have the money and enjoyment just like me. Part of it, though, is that I'm peppering this blog with some advertising. Clicks might make me a few pennies and purchases of affiliated products might make me a few dollars.

Rest assured that I'm going to deal straight with you, though. I'm not going to pimp anything that I don't personally KNOW to be a great deal.

Anyway, that's my little introduction. Thanks for reading my first post. Now, bookmark me. Come back. I plan on offering some real insight on how you can make money with paid surveys based on my own personal experience and expertise.
