Here's a sort of fun project for you.
Track the actual amount of time you're spending with paid surveys and the actual amount of value you earn from that time for awhile.
Then, do the math.
Find out if you are really making a decent equivalent to an hourly wage.
Some people definitely do.
Some people fall short.
It isn't really that big of an issue, because it's money you're making on your own time when you would just be goofing off anyway. It's sorta like free money. Besides, it's fun. It's not like going to a Joe/Jane job where you have to clock in on time and some crazy assistant manager jumps your case because you'd like to take a five-minute cigarette break. Plus, there are no really creepy co-workers to catch staring at your butt all the time.
You get the idea.
Anyway, do the math and see how you feel.
I like my numbers.
Oh, and because I still feel guilty that I started my last post with such a blatant pitch for you to join one of my favorite survey lead sites, I am making this post commercial-free.

There are cool little Firefox extensions available that make it incredibly easy to fill out forms on the Internet. If you're like me and you are really not that thrilled about typing your full name out every single time a form asks for it, this might be just what you need.
It certainly makes taking paid surveys online a lot faster.

I just noticed that my last few posts were a little on the ditzy side, so I decided to pump out something on the serious tip.
Paid surveys are a lot of fun and I rarely, if ever, encounter any problems with them whatsoever. Part of that is because I have the hook-up and don't mess around in the bad neighborhoods of Surveyville. Another reason is because I do my homework.
